Luanda: Mobile operator Africell was honored on Sunday with the award for best Information Technology and Telecommunications showcase at the 15th edition of the Benguela International Fair (FIB 2026), held from the 9th to the 13th of this month.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the award was accepted by Africell's regional director for Benguela, M¡rio Nascimento. He viewed the honor as recognition of the company's efforts in providing telecommunications services and building closer relationships with customers.
In a statement sent to ANGOP this Monday, the executive also highlighted that participating in the FIB provided an opportunity to showcase products and services, interact with consumers, and establish contacts with companies and institutions.
The 15th edition of the FIB featured 415 exhibitors from Angola, Portugal, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Namibia, in a space dedicated to promoting business, showcasing products, and establishing partnerships.
At the event, Africell exhibited communication solutions and services aimed at both individual consumers and businesses, thereby strengthening its presence in the local market.
