Angola Ambassador to Madagascar Presents Letters of Credence to President Rajoelina.


Antananarivo: Angola ambassador Rui Orlando Xavier handed over on Thursday his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Madagascar, Andry Rajoelina. The ceremony symbolized the strengthening of bilateral relations between the Republic of Angola and Madagascar, which have maintained robust cooperation since Angola’s National Independence in 1975.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the occasion was also used by Ambassador Rui Xavier to extend an invitation to businesspeople from Madagascar, encouraging them to explore business opportunities in Angola. This initiative received support from President Andry Rajoelina, indicating a mutual interest in economic collaboration.

Rui Orlando Xavier holds the position of Angola’s ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to South Africa and also serves as a non-resident ambassador to Lesotho and Madagascar.
