Angola and Tanzania Enhance Bilateral Ties with New Cooperation Agreements

Luanda:Angola and Tanzania have signed four new legal instruments of cooperation, further solidifying their bilateral relationship. With these new agreements, the total number of cooperative frameworks between the two nations has reached 16.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the newly signed agreements encompass areas such as the transfer of convicted persons, air services operations, information and communication technologies (ICT), and meteorological collaboration between Angola's National Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics (INAMET) and the Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA).

These additions expand upon 12 previously existing agreements, which include cooperation in sectors like oil, gas, health, and diplomacy. The signing of these agreements coincides with President Lourenço's official state visit, scheduled from October 28 to 30, during which he will also travel to Dodoma to attend the inauguration of the Mtumba Government City.
