Luanda: The seventh edition of the Angola Oil and Gas (AOG) Conference and Exhibition is set to take place on September 9 and 10 in Luanda, aiming to draw investment in technologies and financing for the sector's expansion. The event will host participants from over 40 countries, with more than 2,000 delegates expected from Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the 'AOG-2026' edition was launched on Tuesday in Luanda, attended by businesspeople, members of the Association of Service Providers for the Angolan Oil Industry, and officials from the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Petroleum and Gas. The director of the Angola Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition, Lus Conde, highlighted that the event would focus on sharing knowledge and attracting financial capital and technology to support sustainable economic and social development in Angola's oil sector.
He emphasized that the conference, the largest of its kind in Angola, would reinforce the importance of local activities and provide security assurances for both Angolan and foreign investors. The annual event, organized by Energy Capital and Power with institutional support from the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Petroleum and Gas, brings together global financiers, project promoters, and key stakeholders to sign agreements and advance projects.

The market is projected to exceed 4.73 billion US dollars in 2026, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 1.91% forecasted between 2026 and 2031.
