Angolan President Appoints New Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Ministry

Luanda: The President of the Republic, Joo Louren§o, appointed Jos© Paulino Cunha da Silva to the position of Secretary of State for Administration, Finance and Heritage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) on Wednesday. The appointment is part of a series of presidential decrees that dismiss and appoint other officials of the Central State Administration.

According to Angola Press News Agency, Joo Louren§o dismissed, for reasons of service, Osvaldo dos Santos Varela from the position of Secretary of State for Administration, Finance and Heritage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In another decree, Josemar Euclides Joo Afonso was appointed to the position of Secretary of State for the Management of Tourism Assets and Concessions of the Ministry of Tourism.

As part of the changes made, the President of the Republic also appointed Carlos Armando Albino to the position of Vice-Governor of the province of Cuanza Sul for Technical Services and Infrastructure, replacing Heitor D¡rio de Jos© Henriques Alfredo.
