Bern: Angola's tourism opportunities and potential were displayed on Tuesday, in Bern (Switzerland), in an event commemorating Africa Day, celebrated on the 25th of this month. At the event, organized by the African Group of Ambassadors accredited in Switzerland, in partnership with the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, videos were shown on the country's development paths in various areas, according to a note from the Angolan Embassy in the Swiss Confederation.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the Angolan delegation at the event was led by the Angolan ambassador to the Swiss Confederation, Filomena Delgado. The delegation took advantage of the occasion to showcase various elements of national culture, from gastronomy, art, music, dance, and other products made in the country.
The Swiss Government was represented by the Head of the Africa and Francophonie Division in the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation. The ceremony was also attended by the dean of the African Group of Ambassadors, L©onard Henri Bindzi, politicians, diplomats, businesspeople, resident African communities, members of Swiss civil society, among others.
