Cabinda Bids Farewell to Healthcare Professionals Killed in Car Accident

Cabinda: Hundreds of people paid their last respects on Thursday in the city of Cabinda to the four healthcare professionals who died on Sunday in a car accident in Cabo Ledo, Icolo e Bengo province. The official wake took place in the multipurpose pavilion of the Baro Puna school and was witnessed by the governor of Cabinda, Suzana de Abreu, members of the local government, family members, colleagues, and the general public. According to Angola Press News Agency, the governor laid a wreath on the urns and comforted the bereaved families. In the book of condolences, Suzana de Abreu highlighted the professional careers of the deceased and said that the premature departure of these individuals to the other dimension of life leaves an irreparable void. During the funeral ceremony, messages were read from the Ministry of Health, the local government, the Provincial Hospital, and family members, who unanimously praised the achievements and dedication of these professionals to the noblest causes of the province a nd the country in general. Moments later, funeral ceremonies were celebrated in the parishes of Our Lady Queen of the World of the Catholic Church and New Jerusalem of the Evangelical Church of Angola (IEA).
