Cabinda Prioritizes Social, Health Sectors and Roads Upgrading in 2026

Luanda: The Cabinda government has outlined its activity plan for the 2026 fiscal year, with a focus on prioritizing the health and education sectors, as well as upgrading the region's roads. This strategic plan, which also includes agricultural projects, was discussed and approved during the first ordinary meeting of the Cabinda Provincial Government Council, led by Governor Suzana de Abreu.

According to Angola Press News Agency, Juliano Capita, the deputy governor of technical and infrastructure services, emphasized the importance of purpose and selflessness in achieving the plan's objectives. The goal of these social and economic projects is to improve the well-being of the population across all municipalities in the province.

Municipal administrators highlighted the importance of continuing to promote programs related to the productive sector in rural areas. This initiative aims to accelerate the diversification of the national economy, a key component of the government's development strategy.

The meeting also involved analysis and approval of reports from the municipal administrations and the Cabinda government concerning the 2025 fiscal year, setting the stage for future planning and implementation.
