Candidacy for the presidency of the FBF: Ali Guissou’s file incomplete and not validated

Ouagadougou: the candidacy file of the president of AS Douanes Ali Guissou for the post of President of the Burkinabè Football Federation was not validated by the electoral commission, noted the AIB. The electoral commission validated two candidates out of four. This concerns the file of Colonel Major Oumarou Sawadogo and former Burkinabè international Jonathan Pitroipa. The candidate Moctar Diallo who had submitted his candidacy subsequently withdrew it. Ali Guissou's file was invalidated because of the 20 members who made up his team, one withdrew his candidacy, leaving an incomplete file, explained Isaac Domba, member of the electoral commission.
