Lunda-Norte: The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC), in coordination with the National Police, seized a total of 67 diamond stones on Monday in the municipalities of Xá-muteba and Cambulo for illegal possession and trafficking.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the diamonds were in the possession of two foreign citizens of Malian nationality, aged 30 and 52. The SIC spokesperson, Graciano Lumanhe, detailed that the seizures resulted from a micro-operation conducted at the Cassange Calucala police station in Xá-muteba and within a residence located in the village of Nzage in Cambulo.
Lumanhe stated that the individuals involved will be referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, aiming to bring the case before the Judge of Guarantee. The confiscated diamonds are set to be handed over to the state diamond company, ENDIAMA EP, to act as a trustee.

beings and organs, and fuel smuggling.
