Luanda: The Egyptian delegation has arrived in Luanda for the African Senior and U-19 Roller Hockey Championships, which have been ongoing since Monday at the Cidadela Desportiva Sport Center pavilion. The arrival, initially scheduled for Tuesday, finally took place on Wednesday at noon, with the U-19 and senior teams set to participate in their respective matches later in the evening. According to Angola Press News Agency, despite the delayed arrival of the Egyptian team, the competition's schedule remains unchanged. Mário Correia "Bala", the deputy-chair for communications and marketing of the Angolan Roller Skating Federation, confirmed that the day initially reserved for a break will be utilized to accommodate the revised matchdays. With Egypt's arrival, the tournament now includes four participating countries: Angola, South Africa, Mozambique, and Egypt. This competition marks the second edition for the seniors and the inaugural edition for the U-19 category, following the previous championship hosted by Egypt. The matches scheduled for Wednesday will proceed as follows: Mozambique will face South Africa in both U-19 and senior categories at 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM, respectively. Angola will then compete against Egypt, with the U-19 match at 6:00 PM and the senior match at 8:00 PM.
