Luanda: Exhibitors at the 6th edition of ANGOTIC highlighted the high quality of visitors, especially public figures, and interactions with entrepreneurs at the event, which closed on Saturday in Luanda. According to Angola Press News Agency, in assessing the three days of the exhibition at the country's largest technology fair, some exhibitors acknowledged the gains achieved and offered suggestions for future editions. The representative of the company Katuma, Fábio Manuel, gave a positive assessment of the fair's organization, noting that it allowed for more stands and startups. He also highlighted the presence of public figures such as the First Lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Lourenço, and the former Vice-President Bornito de Sousa, among others. The representative also congratulated the national press for its "prompt and diligent" coverage during the three days of the 6th edition of ANGOTIC. However, he said that he would like to see more innovation and technology and a greater quantity of food in the Fo od Court in future editions. For the institutional communication coordinator of the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM), Alione Santos, the three days were positive given the high movement of the public in the stands and startups. "It was good to see the considerable number of startups, the workshops developed around technology," he pointed out. He emphasized that INAPEM exhibited two projects, namely "Atende" and "Connectar". Initiated by the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication (MINTTICS), ANGOTIC - Angola ICT FORUM is the main Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) event in Angola that annually brings together companies, startups, experts, academics and government institutions in a space for innovation, debate and networking. The event aims to boost the country's digital transformation, promoting technological solutions that strengthen strategic sectors, from connectivity and cybersecurity to artificial inte lligence and digital government. The forum also serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, presentation of innovations, and encouragement of digital entrepreneurship, bringing together the main players in the national and international technology ecosystem. This year's edition had the motto "On the Road to Digital Transformation".
