Expo Bengo 2026 Highlights New Features and Business Opportunities

Panguila:The 2nd edition of Expo Bengo 2026 is set to take place from Thursday to Sunday at the Panguila market, showcasing new initiatives such as the 'Transforma Aqui' project and the signing of financing agreements.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce will present the 'Transforma Aqui' project, and the Agricultural Development Support Fund (FADA) will oversee the signing of financing agreements at the event.

This year's expo introduces a business forum designed to foster interaction among entrepreneurs, producers, investors, and potential business partners. Additionally, a footwear auction will be featured as part of the four-day event.

Inocêncio Quipungo from C. Calas Eventos noted that three pavilions are being prepared, including a larger one for companies in the industrial sector. This initiative addresses space constraints from the first edition, aiming to enhance participation and visibility for industrial companies.

The expo will also provide larger spaces for the province's 12 municipalities to display agricultural products, machinery, equipment, and other local goods, supporting efforts to boost domestic production.

Expo Bengo 2026 seeks to enhance domestic production, facilitate connections between producers and buyers, and create new business opportunities. Over 100 national and international exhibitors are expected to attend.

The event's opening ceremony will feature Minister of Industry and Commerce Rui Miguêns de Oliveira, Bengo Province Governor Maria Nelumba, and other dignitaries.

Companies and institutions from various sectors, including commerce, logistics, metalworking, ICT, hospitality, tourism, and more, will participate in this year's event.
