Nairobi: Father Bonifácio Tchimboto has presented in Nairobi, Kenya, his literary work entitled 'Línguas e Culturas, Introdução à Etnolinguística e Oralidades Africanas' (Languages and Cultures, Introduction to Ethnolinguistics and African Oralities) during the celebration of Angola National Independence Day marked on November 11, ANGOP has learnt. According to Angola Press News Agency, the 215-page book portrays, among other aspects, the study of linguistics applied to African literatures. Bonifácio Tchimboto, currently the only Angolan professor at the Catholic University in Eastern Africa, Kenya, autographed the book and gave a copy to the Angolan ambassador to Kenya and permanent representative to the United Nations Offices in Nairobi, Syanga Abílio. The priest from the Diocese of Benguela was also director and coordinator of various national pastoral and academic institutions, as well as international associations.
