Fiscal Police Officers Urged to Refrain from Harmful Practices in Zaire Province


Mbanza kongo: The commander of the National Police in Zaire province, José António Gaspar, on Tuesday urged the officers of the Fiscal and Customs Police (PFA) in Mbanza Kongo not to engage in practices that could compromise the interests of this military body in the region.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the official made this appeal while speaking at the opening ceremony of the activities commemorating the 30th anniversary of this institution, set to be celebrated on June 12, under the motto “PFA, 30 years serving the nation with firmness and transparency in the prevention and fight against tax offenses”.

The provincial commander emphasized the importance of the Customs and Fiscal Police working diligently in the current economic context of Zaire province, and the country as a whole, to increase revenue collection for the State coffers. He stressed the need for exemplary, transparent, swift, and effective action by the officers.

He further stated that June 12th should be a day of reflection, cele
brating the rich history of the Customs and Fiscal Police and the dedication of its personnel, which is built on values of integrity, discipline, rigor, professionalism, commitment, loyalty, and control.

On this occasion, the commander called for the involvement of all forces in the program aimed at celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Customs and Fiscal Police in the province. The festivities program includes lectures, visits to various public institutions, cleaning campaigns, and sporting activities.
