Football: Angolan Joins Coaching Staff for Manchester United.

Luanda: Angolan Adélio CSndido will be the assistant coach of Portuguese Rúben Amorim, who signed a contract until June 2027 with Manchester United, England, over the weekend. The 28-year-old coach's integration into the Red Devils' coaching staff was confirmed at the weekend by his team boss, Rúben Amorim, in a press conference, after Sporting Clube de Portugal's 5-1 victory over Estrela da Amadora. According to Angola Press News Agency, Adélio CSndido, who has been with Sporting since the 2019/2020 season, is set to commence his duties with the 'Old Trafford' team on the 11th of this month of November. The debut game for Rúben Amorim and his team is scheduled for the 24th of the same month, facing Ipswich Town in the English League. Adélio CSndido, a native of Luanda, recently visited Angola on September 9, where he attended the national team's 2-1 victory against Sudan at the National Stadium 11 de Novembro. His coaching career began with the youth teams of Beira Mar de Almada in Portugal, later moving t o Casa Pia's initiates. His resume includes roles as an assistant coach at Beira-Mar, Casa Pia, and Sporting Braga, all based in Portugal. During his tenure with Sporting, he contributed to winning a Portuguese League Cup in the 2020/2021 season, a Super Cup in 2021/2022, and a National Championship in 2023/2024. He also secured a League Cup victory with Sporting Braga in the 2019/2020 season.
