Gafsa: SRTG takes delivery of four new buses

The Société Régionale de Transport de Gafsa (SRTG), on Friday, took delivery of four new buses for urban, school and university transport, completing an investment programme launched in 2017 to support and renew its fleet.

Sofiene Yacoubi, CEO of the SRTG, said Saturday the acquisition of these new buses is part of the implementation of the last tranche of a programme to acquire 44 new buses worth a total of more than 17 million dinars.

He explained that 22 buses will be used for interurban transport and the other 22 for urban, school and university transport, pointing out that SRTG’s services cover the governorates of Gafsa, Tozeur and Sidi Bouzid.

The four new buses have a capacity of 85 passengers each, at a total cost of one million 170 thousand dinars, he said, considering that these new acquisitions will contribute to the promotion of SRTG services.
