Greenov’i launches first call for projects

Tunisian companies will receive grants ranging between pound 200,000 and pound 400,000 under the first call for projects of Greenov’i, an European Union (EU)-funded programme implemented by Expertise France.

Dubbed Lead4Green, this pound 1.5-million project proposes actions running from 18 to 36 months. The deadline for submitting applications is set for next Janaury 19.

The project aims to help support structures strengthen their activity, develop new services to support businesses and encourage the development of green businesses.

Lead4Green is launched in collaboration with the International Centre for Environmental Technologies (French: CITET), the Environemnt Ministry and the Economy and Planning Ministry. It falls within the framework of support for eco-entrepreneurship.

It is open to non-governmental organisations, civil society organisations, private and public companies, non-administrative public institutions and public sector operators with sufficient financial autonomy to manage the overall vo
lume of grants.

It targets projects to strengthen services of support structures for the development of green entrepreneurship and contribute to the emergence and acceleration of eco-companies.

Greenov’i is a pound 12-million project designed to support ecological transition in Tunisia over a period of 5 years. It supports the development of eco-businesses and the adoption of sustainable and fair production patterns.
