Hamma Hammami was re-elected as Secretary-General of the Workers’ Party, the party announced on Wednesday. At the party’s 6th Congress last weekend, the congressmen elected the Central Committee, which in turn elected the Steering Committee comprising Secretary General Hamma Hammami, Head of Training and Media Olfa Baazaoui, Head of Relations with Political Parties and Head of Relations with Civil Society Ammar Amroussia, Head of Migration and External Relations Adel Thabet and Head of Management and Finance Chedli Maghraoui, according to a party press release. The motions and documents dealing with the main urgent political files regarding national, regional and international issues were also adopted. Hamma hammami has been Secretary-General and Spokesperson of the Workers’ Party since its formation on January 3, 1986.
