Headless Body of Elderly Woman Found in Chitembo.

Chitembo: The body of an 85-year-old woman was found without her head on the outskirts of the village of Ndala, in the municipality of Chitembo, province of Bié. In addition to the head, other parts of the feet were also severed. According to Angola Press News Agency, the spokesperson for the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) in Bié, Simão Lucas Londaca, stated that the body was discovered after villagers were alerted. Family members had reported that the elderly woman had been missing for a few days. Efforts are underway to arrest the alleged perpetrators and determine the causes that motivated the act, Londaca mentioned. The incident is not isolated, as in 2023, a headless body of a motorcycle taxi driver was also found in the commune of Cunje, municipality of Cuíto.
