IMF delegation visit to Tunisia postponed

The visit of a delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to Tunisia, initially scheduled from December 5 to December 17, has been postponed, at the request of the Tunisian authorities, an IMF source said on Tuesday.

The IMF remains ready to carry out annual consultations under Article IV, the objective of which is to examine Tunisia’s economic performance.

This postponement of the visit was also confirmed by a BCT source which told TAP that Tunisian authorities and the IMF agreed to delay it to a later date to be set in consultation between the two parties.
