Uíge: Angola National Radio (RNA) journalist Fernando Cavunda Zangue, 50, passed away on Thursday at the Uige General Hospital due to illness. According to Angola Press News Agency, Zangue had a seizure early Thursday morning at his home in the Dunga neighborhood on the outskirts of Uíge. He was taken to the regional General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 3:00 a.m. The RNA collective in Uíge mourns this irreparable loss, marked by long years of socializing with the former provincial broadcaster. Zangue joined the RNA provincial station staff in Uíge on September 26, 2004. Until his death, Zangue was editor-in-chief.
