Kasserine-local elections: Two candidates in Sbeïtla pledge support for young people


The two candidates for the forthcoming local elections (December 24), Samir Ghilani and Mohamed Salah Allagui, in the imadas of “Cité Sourour” and “Aouija” in the delegation of Sbeïtla, (Kasserine governorate), are continuing their election campaigns by putting young people at the centre of their respective programmes.

Candidate Samir Ghilani, 37, a civil engineer by training, has promised to regularise the land situation of the region’s inhabitants in order to integrate them into the economic cycle.

He has also promised to create public gardens and parks for families, to allocate state agricultural land to unemployed young people and to develop infrastructure in Cité Sourour.

For his part, Mohamed Salah Allagui, 66, promised in a statement to TAP that, if elected, he would work to promote the creation of mountain lakes and to link the two ends of the region (25 km) by an agricultural passage, to support young people and disadvantaged families and to set up a primary health centre.
