Menongue: Angolan Public Administration, Labor and Social Security Minister Teresa Dias reaffirmed in Menongue, Cubango province, that the Government remains focused on strengthening human capital and launching new public recruitment processes. According to Angola Press News Agency, the minister, speaking to the press on the sidelines of the celebrations of the 24th anniversary of the Day of Peace and National Reconciliation, emphasized that these actions aim to improve public services and combat youth precariousness. She advocated for the inclusion of more civil servants and administrative agents, along with an increased budget for professional training. The government plans to organize two major public competitions centered on the education and health sectors to bolster specialized staff nationwide and ensure more efficient service provision to the population. 'We agree on the holding of these competitions in specialty areas, which we believe will bring significant benefits at a national level,' she highl ighted. In discussing employment relationship regularization, Teresa Dias noted ongoing efforts with specific commissions to address the needs of new provinces created under the new Political-Administrative Division. Regarding professional training, she assured the implementation of programs utilizing mobile units to reach municipalities lacking training centers. The minister expressed concern over youth conditions, noting that a large number of young people have low professional qualifications, contributing to social precariousness. 'We want to bring training to places where there are young people, but there are no training centers, so we are going to do this through our mobile professional training means,' she reinforced. The government official reiterated the Executive's commitment to investing in human capital as a vital pillar for the country's sustainable economic and social development.
