Local elections/Tunis 2: ‘Involvement, monitoring and achievement’, slogan of campaign of candidate Hédi Douzi

Under the slogan “involvement, monitoring and achievement”, the candidate for the Imada of El Menzah-El Manar I (Tunis II constituency), Hedi Douzi, continues his electoral campaign for the local elections which will take place next Sunday.

The 49-year old candidate Hédi Douzi said that the development of his programme was developed within the framework of a participatory approach with the inhabitants of the imada to meet their aspirations.

He promised to develop the imada through a clear, concise action plan subject to monitoring with the aim of creating a culture of dialogue and establishing the principle of transparency and effective participation.

The candidate’s electoral programme includes plans to develop and maintain abandoned parks and create spaces for leisure and sports.

He also pledged to encourage local investment, upgrade the region’s infrastructure and improve its environmental and urban situation.

At the beginning of the electoral campaign, 18 candidates including 4 people with disabilit
ies were running for the next elections to the local council of El Menzah.

Candidate Mohamed Chelbi told TAP that he had announced his withdrawal.

The electoral campaign began on December 2 and will continue until December 22.
