Candidate Rim Belhadj Mohamed in the local council elections of La Goulette electoral constituency, delegation of La Goulette (Tunis 2), said that she kicked off her electoral campaign through by distributing leaflets to locals.
The 44-year old candidate told TAP that she will do everything possible to monitor incomplete projects in the region and recover the reputation of La Goulette as a tourist, cultural and sporting center.
She also promised to guarantee employment positions to young people in the region at the tourist Souk of the Port of La Goulette, adding that “this market is likely to help artisans to exhibit their products and significantly reduce anarchic stalls “.
Eight candidates are in the running in the constituency of La Goulette including 7 direct candidacies and one candidate with a disability.
La Goulette delegation is divided into 5 electoral constituencies, namely La Goulette, La Goulette Casino, Kheireddine, Taieb Mhiri and Cité Essalama.
