Negage: A 33-year-old man accused of killing his girlfriend with a machete due to jealousy was arrested on Wednesday in the municipality of Negage, in the province of Uge, by the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC).
According to Angola Press News Agency, the homicide occurred in the village of Bamba Matamba in the Negage municipality after the accused found the victim socializing with other young people in a canteen.
A fight broke out, and the accused grabbed a machete and struck the victim multiple times, causing fatal injuries.
Based on these facts, the accused was arrested and will be presented to the Public Prosecutor's Office for further proceedings.
