Mbanza Kongo: O Servi§o de Investiga§o Criminal (SIC) na provncia do Zaire deteve, nas ºltimas 72 horas, no municpio de Mbanza Kongo, 15 cidados nacionais acusados de abuso sexual de pessoas com perturba§µes mentais.
According to Angola Press News Agency, in addition to sexual violation of people with mental problems, the alleged criminals are also accused of possession, sale, and consumption of cannabis.
The perpetrators, aged between 24 and 50, were arrested as a result of targeted searches carried out by SIC officers in Camuna do Nkiende and the municipality of Luvo.
The spokesman explained that the latest case of sexual abuse of these defenseless people took place on Sunday in the community of Nkiende, where the alleged rapist, who was the victim's neighbor, entered the victim's house, chained her up, and raped her.
"When he tried to leave, he was seen by the neighbors, who immediately reported what had happened to the authorities," the spokesman said.
