Moxico: The provincial delegate for finance in Moxico, Ant³nio Manuel, on Tuesday urged local public managers to improve the execution of public expenditures and accountability in the current financial year. During a technical and methodological meeting with members of the Moxico Provincial Government, Manuel emphasized the necessity for public managers to comply with legal requirements to ensure that program funds have a positive impact on citizens' lives this financial year.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the meeting aimed to align the accountability process to correct inconsistencies recorded in the previous financial year. However, Manuel did not mention any specific inconsistencies. He explained that there were delays in accountability in some municipalities in 2025, citing technological and communication limitations in many regions of the province as the reason for the delay.
