Nathalie Yamb Calls for Reducing Traitors to Emancipate Africa

Ouagadougou: For a free and emancipated Africa, sovereignist activist Nathalie Yamb advocates reducing the rate of traitors, that is, firmly sanctioning Africans who accept money to harm the continent's interests.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Yamb emphasizes the importance of cultivating patriotism and solidarity among Africans to counteract external influences that could destabilize the continent. She argues that unlike in Europe, where citizens are unlikely to betray their country for financial gain, some Africans are tempted by external offers to commit acts against their own nations.

Yamb highlights the detrimental impact of such actions, noting that those who engage in treason often end up disrespected and discarded by those who manipulated them. She stresses the need for the current generation to foster a strong sense of patriotism and suggests that severe penalties for treason could serve as a deterrent.

In her interview, Yamb underscored the necessity of unity and solidarity as the foundation for Africa's strength and independence. She called for a collective effort to instill these values and reduce the influence of traitors on the continent's future.
