National Committee of Support to Palestinian Resistance created

National organisations and political parties announced Tuesday the creation of a national committee of support to the Palestinian resistance. The announcement was made following a meeting held Monday at the call of the Tunisian General Labour Union (French: UGTT). The committee was created to support the heroic "Al-Aqsa Flood' epic launched on October 7 at dawn by the Palestinian Resistance to to liberate its occupied territories and recover the rights of the Palestinian people," reads a statement released on Tuesday. Signatories said a national rally will be held on October 12 in full support for the Palestinian Resistance in the liberation struggle. They urged citizens and civil society to participate massively in the rally. The support committee also said there is need to draft as soon as possible a law criminalising normalisation with the Zinoist entity and denounced "the shameful stances of some Arab regimes." The "blatant bias of imperialist powers" spearheaded by the USA which stand beside the Zionist entity is "condemnable." The committee called on the active forces across the globe to stand in full solidarity with the Palestinian people and bring pressure to halt the atrocities committed by occupation forces in the Gaza strip.
