The leader of the 3rd Republic Party, Olfa Hamdi, has announced her candidacy for the next presidential elections scheduled for autumn 2024. In a statement, a copy of which was sent to TAP, Olfa Hamdi said she was offering the Tunisian people “an alternative political vision” to ensure “a better economic future” and “to meet their aspirations for unity, prosperity and security”. Olfa Hamdi also announced the launch of “a broad dialogue open to all Tunisians at home and abroad”. This “dialogue aims to build a broad coalition to guarantee a peaceful and successful political transition in the context of the next presidential elections”.
