Icolo e bengo: The Provincial Police Command has detained four individuals, aged 19 to 23, in connection with the tragic death of a 26-year-old pregnant woman in Sequele municipality.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the incident occurred on the night of December 24 when the suspects allegedly broke into the victim's home for reasons that remain undisclosed. The invasion resulted in the immediate death of the pregnant woman. The Directorate of Investigations and Criminal Offenses (DIIP) is actively pursuing the investigation to identify and arrest other suspects involved in the crime.
In a separate incident, an 18-year-old was arrested in the Zango 2 area of Calumbo municipality for allegedly sexually abusing a minor under one year of age, who is his cousin. Police reports indicate that the crime took place while the accused was bathing the child and took the opportunity to commit the act.
Additionally, the Criminal Investigation Service apprehended eight national citizens, aged 31 to 62, on December 29 for engaging in poaching activities in the Qui§ama National Park.
