President Joo Louren§o Congratulates Mozambique on 51 Years of Independence

Luanda: Angolan President Joo Louren§o congratulated the people and Government of Mozambique on the celebration of the country's 51st independence anniversary, marked on Thursday, June 25.

According to Angola Press News Agency, in a message sent to his Mozambican counterpart, Daniel Chapo, the Angolan Head of State conveyed-on behalf of the Executive and in his own name-wishes for prosperity to the Mozambican people. Joo Louren§o emphasized that Angola and Mozambique share a common past and a trajectory rooted in relations of solidarity and cooperation, which have strengthened for the benefit of the progress and development of both nations.

The Angolan leader also highlighted the ties of friendship and mutual understanding between the two states, which foster deeper cooperation in the political, economic, and social spheres. In the message, Joo Louren§o also wished health, success, and prosperity to President Daniel Chapo and the people of the Republic of Mozambique.
