President Joo Lourenço Highlights Organization of AU-EU Summit

Luanda: Angolan Head of State on Monday in Luanda highlighted the preparations for the 7th African Union-European Union Summit. Speaking to the press upon arriving at the Presidential Protocol Hall, where the event will be held, he expressed Angola's happiness with the level of participation of the Heads of State and Government present. According to Angola Press News Agency, President Joo Lourenço noted the satisfaction with the number of delegations, including Heads of State and Government, attending the summit. He emphasized that the summit was properly prepared and that all potential constraints were overcome. He reported that the parties have already negotiated a final declaration, which he believes will facilitate the work and discussions during the summit. Joo Lourenço also highlighted the significance of international cooperation, stating that Angola remains open to dialogue and collaboration with all countries globally. The Angolan Head of State reiterated the summit's inclusivity, welcoming all Af rican and European countries that are members of the community bloc. He acknowledged the involvement of all parties in preparing the event to ensure its success.
