President Lourenço Heads to Lunda-Norte for University Campus Inauguration

Luanda: President Joo Lourenço embarked on a trip to Dundo City, located in the north-eastern Province of Lunda-Norte, to officially open the Lueji A'nKonde University Campus. According to Angola Press News Agency, President Lourenço was accompanied by First Lady Ana Dias Lourenço and was seen off at the Luanda Air Base by Vice-President Esperança da Costa, along with other state officials. The President's itinerary includes a meeting with the provincial executive to address various matters affecting the region. This meeting will provide local authorities the chance to communicate their concerns directly to the Head of State. The newly inaugurated Lueji A'nKonde University Campus features a diverse range of facilities necessary for academic endeavors. These include a rectory building, 87 classrooms, rooms designated for mock trials, residences for students and faculty, libraries, an auditorium, as well as administrative and recreational areas. Initially, the campus is set to serve over three thousand stude nts annually in the fields of Law and Economics.
