Algiers: President of the Republic Kais Saied arrived Thursday evening in Algiers to attend the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Algerian Liberation Revolution. The Head of State was welcomed by his Algerian counterpart Abdelmadjid Tebboune at the Houari Boumediene International Airport in Algiers. The two presidents saluted the flag to the official anthems of the two countries before reviewing an honorary formation of the armies paying them honours.
According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, President of the Republic Kais Saied left Thursday for Algeria at the invitation of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. The visit marks the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Algerian Liberation Revolution. The Head of State was seen off by several dignitaries, including Prime Minister Kamel Madouri, Tunis Governor Imed Boukhris, Secretary General in charge of the Municipality of Tunis Lotfi Dachraoui, Presidential Cabinet members, and Algeria’s Ambassador in Tunis Azzouz Balal.
