Secretary of State for Labour Highlights Dissemination of High-Impact Social Projects

Luanda: Angola's Secretary of State for Labour and Social Security, Pedro Filipe, praised the dissemination of major projects and programmes currently underway in the sector, emphasizing their direct impact on society. Speaking at the opening of the Seminar on the Dissemination of Key Labour Administration Projects, he highlighted the importance of clarifying doubts and strengthening staff alignment around sector priorities, underscoring the value added for both implementers and beneficiaries. According to Angola Press News Agency, Pedro Filipe articulated that the ongoing projects should not be perceived as isolated initiatives by leadership members but as strategic programmes with significant societal impact. He underscored the Roadmap for the Implementation of the New Remuneration Architecture of the Public Administration (RINAR) as a reform aimed at promoting fairness, equity, transparency, and harmonisation within the remuneration system of the Public Administration. Additionally, Filipe highlighted th e establishment of the National Employment Fund of Angola (FUNEA) as a financial mechanism to support the National Employment Agenda. He also mentioned the Recognition, Validation and Certification of Competencies (RVCC), which aims to formalize and enhance skills acquired by individuals throughout their lives, allowing their professional knowledge and experience to be formally certified. The seminar was designed to bolster internal understanding of the current programmes and to align employees with their societal impact. Organised by the Ministry of Public Administration, Labour and Social Security (MAPTSS), the event gathered 130 employees to discuss and promote internal awareness of the policies and programmes being implemented.
