Sfax: Nearly hundred SMEs integrated into Tunisian-European ‘Insadder’ programme


SFAX: The evaluation of the “Insadder” (I export) project was the focus of an information day held, Thursday, in Sfax, at the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sfax (CCIS), in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The «Insadder» programme, launched in 2021 in partnership with the Economy Ministry, is funded by the European Union to the tune of pound 7 million (23 million Tunisian dinars).

The programme currently benefits nearly a hundred SMEs and is seeking to provide technical support to 30 new Tunisian companies in 2024, Director of the Support Programme for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises at the (EBRD), Zakaria Louati, told TAP.

“The programme aims to increase the competitiveness of Tunisian SMEs in foreign markets, by providing financial support to companies active in various fields such as digital transformation, production quality, international standard and support for the energy transition towards a green economy”, he explained.

eneral Director Hichem Elloumi poined out that «This information day is part of the works of the Chamber which undertakes to supervise SMEs and support any projects likely to increase their productivity and boost their export capabilities»

«The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sfax strives to be a relay between SMEs and European financial structures, relying on success stories abroad,» He added.
