Luanda: A group of alleged criminals involved in armed robberies, in the province of Cabinda, was dismantled on Tuesday by the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC).
According to Angola Press News Agency, the gang, nicknamed "Transcatana," consisted of three individuals and operated in the areas of Luvassa-sul and Chiwenga, targeting homes and commercial facilities. During the operation, SIC seized several items, including an AKM firearm, three plasma TVs, and two home butane gas bottles. The alleged criminals are set to be referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office in the coming days for further legal procedures.
