Téte António Pays Homage to Women’s Contributions

Luanda: The minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, on Saturday highlighted the contribution of women to humanity and their fundamental role in the construction of a just, inclusive, and prosperous society. According to Angola Press News Agency, the Foreign Minister expressed his recognition and gratitude to all women in a note of congratulations on the occasion of International Women's Day, observed on March 8. He acknowledged their sensibility, love, dedication, and talent. Furthermore, Téte António emphasized the importance of women in the fields of diplomacy and international relations, referring to their performance in these areas as essential for promoting peace, dialogue, and cooperation among nations. The Foreign Minister also reaffirmed his department's commitment to gender equity, respect for women's rights, and the enhancement of policies that ensure their full participation in societal life globally. He expressed hope that International Women's Day would inspire ongoing efforts toward a mor e egalitarian and promising future for all women.
