Dondo: The Brazilian businessmen expressed on Wednesday interest in exploring the textile industry in Dondo, located in the municipality of Cambambe in the Cuanza-Norte province. They have been seeking investment partnerships in this region of the country since last Monday.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the advisor to the Brazilian Minister of Agriculture, Carlos Agostin Teti, said that with this visit, the businessmen from his country will study the possibility of exploring the Dondo textile factory, which was recently remodeled and equipped with state-of-the-art technological means.
He also said that a team of Brazilian technicians may come to Angola in the coming months to assess the conditions of the factory and sign agreements with the Angolan authorities for its operation.
Brazil has said it will disburse 120 million kwanzas for large-scale cereal production in the municipality of Lunga, Cua-Norte province, in an area of 20,000 hectares.
