The Commission on Informatics and Liberties (CIL) exchanged on Wednesday, in person and online, with the staff of Burkinabe diplomatic missions and consular posts on the protection of personal data personal and on the use of social networks. According to the president of the CIL, Halguièta Nassa/Trawina, the objective of the activity was to bring to the attention of these actors the legal and institutional framework for the protection of personal data. The discussions also provided diplomats with useful information on the responsible use of social networks.
