Tunisia, Korea ink Framework Agreement on Public Aid for Development [Upd 1]

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar and Korea’s Ambassador to Tunisia SUN Nahmkook Friday inked the Framework Agreement on Public Aid for Development between the Government of the Republic of Tunisia and the Government of the Republic of Korea.

This agreement will open up new horizons for technical cooperation between the two countries by organising training sessions in Korea for Tunisian executives, sending Korean experts and volunteers to Tunisia and providing equipment within the framework of bilateral projects to be implemented in Tunisia, reads a Foreign Ministry press release.

Ammar commended friendship ties between the two countries and the significant development witnessed by cooperation. He called for further exploring opportunities of cooperation and partnership, especially in connection to impmlementing development and infrastructure projects, digitalisation of services, and promotion of Korean investment in Tunisia.

It is also highly important to intensify coordination so as to develop triangular cooperation programmes with African countries.

The Korean Ambassador commended the Tunisian-Korean relations and reiterated his country’s readiness to bring them to the next level in the service of the common interest of the two countries.
