Luena: The visit of Pope Leo XIV to Angola is an opportunity to strengthen stability and political tolerance in the country, said the president of the largest opposition party UNITA, Adalberto Costa Junior, on Saturday in Luena, Moxico province. According to Angola Press News Agency, the party leader noted that the Pope's visit, scheduled from April 18 to 21 of this year, could lead to reflection on themes and values of peace, dialogue, social stability, and the dignity of the human person. "It is a visit that will stimulate Catholic evangelization in the capital and in the east of the country, enhance the beauty and cultural richness, and highlight the problems of the region," said the politician, at a political event he led in the city of Luena. This is the third visit by a leader of the Catholic Church to Angola, following the visits of John Paul II in 1992 and Benedict XVI in 2009.
