Luanda: The twelve victims of the conflict between the Mucubal and Nyaneca tribes will be buried on Thursday in the southern provinces of Namibe and Hula.
According to Angola Press News Agency, seven of the victims will be laid to rest in the Camucuio Municipal Cemetery, four in Cacimbas, and one in Guilengues, in the province of Hula.
The conflict centered around two tribal groups, Mucubal and Nyaneca, who were disputing ownership of a water reservoir in the town of Mulovei, located in the municipality of Cacimbas. The riot, which erupted on the 16th of the current month, only ceased following the intervention of defense and security agents, who worked to restore security in the area.
