Luanda:Around 2,000 women are expected to gather in Luanda on Saturday for a conference focused on the spiritual, emotional, financial, and social challenges faced by women in Angola today.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the event, titled "Eu e Elas" (Me and Them), is organized by the Family Restoration Ministry (MRF). It aims to provide a platform for personal growth, leadership training, and spiritual strengthening, with various panel discussions covering topics such as faith, emotional well-being, and the pressures of modern society.
Financial literacy will be a central theme of the conference, as highlighted in an MRF statement released Wednesday. Sessions will focus on income management, saving, and investment strategies to help women achieve long-term economic independence.
The conference will also explore the psychological impacts of social media, particularly issues surrounding social comparison and the quest for external approval.
Conceived by Angolan Apostle Swely da Silva, this bi-annual initiative operates on the belief that female solidarity can drive significant social change.
In addition to the conference sessions, organizers plan to continue outreach efforts in local communities, promoting ongoing personal development and enhancing women's active participation in Angolan society.
