Luanda: The Board of Directors of the World Free Zones Organization (WFZO) has re-elected Manuel Pedro, Chairman of Angola's Special Economic Zone (ZEE), for a second consecutive term, ANGOP learnt on Thursday.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the reelection occurred during the 11th WFZO World Congress, which took place from October 10 to 12 in Hainan, China. This achievement is a milestone of international prestige and recognition for the ZEE's management, its appeal to national and foreign investors, and its role in promoting Angola's industrial and economic development.
The statement adds that the ZEE's continued representation in this important global body consolidates Angola's position among the world's most influential economic zones.
