Luanda: The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) in the province of Uge has arrested a 24-year-old man on charges of sexually abusing a four-year-old child. The arrest took place on Monday in the Kituma neighborhood, an area located on the outskirts of the city of Uge.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the accused is a neighbor of the victim and allegedly took advantage of the absence of the child's parents to commit the act in a bathroom. Zacarias Fernando, the SIC spokesperson for the province, stated that the incident resulted in injuries to the minor. The child is currently receiving medical treatment at the Uge General Hospital.
