Abdoul Latif Sanon Appointed New Director of Agriculture in Tuy

Ouagadougou: The new provincial director of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Fisheries, Abdoul Latif Sanon, places communication at the coder of his management. The new provincial director of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Fisheries of Tuy, Abdoul Latif Sanon, affirmed his desire to put communication at the center of his management for a peaceful and friendly working environment in order to achieve the objectives set, in particular those of the Agro-pastoral and Fisheries Offensive.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Abdoul Latif Sanon declared, "For my part, I will put communication at the center of my management to guarantee a social climate of work and conviviality in order to achieve the set objectives, precisely those of the Agro-pastoral and Fisheries Offensive." He was appointed in the Council of Ministers on July 16, 2025, and expressed these sentiments during his installation ceremony on July 25, 2025, chaired by Dieudonn© Zeida, the Secretary General of the Province of Tuy.

The new director expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture authorities for the trust placed in him. As a soil engineer, he acknowledged the magnitude of the mission entrusted to him and pledged to assume it with humility and dedication. Sanon praised the achievements of his predecessor and expressed readiness to build upon them. He called for the commitment of the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Fisheries (DPARAH) agents of Tuy as well as the active forces to meet the challenges.

Sanon assured his intent to work in synergy with technical and financial partners, projects and programs, NGOs, and development associations to improve the living conditions of the populations of Tuy.

After two years, one month, and 23 days at the helm of the Tuy DPARAH, Emmanuel Kombema is passing the torch. He expressed gratitude to all stakeholders who supported him throughout his tenure, including the general administration, the constituted bodies, local authorities, customary and religious authorities, farmers' organizations, and development partners. Kombema reassured his successor of his willingness to respond to any requests.

The province's Secretary General, Dieudonn© Zeida, praised the outgoing director's efforts and his embodiment of human values during his tenure in Tuy. Zeida reiterated the administration's support to the incoming director and called on Tuy's vital forces to support the new director with the same fervor shown toward the outgoing director.

The ceremony was marked by the presence of Eric Pascal Adanabou, the Regional Director of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Fisheries of Hauts-Bassins.
